Welcome to the website for Calvary First Baptist Church. Please check back often for new information.

On October 4, 2007, a fire destroyed a portion of our building but it did not destroy our church or the sweet fellowship we enjoy.  Our church is made up of baptized believers who love the Lord and want to serve Him. 

While our building is being reconstructed, the following activities are being held at alternate locations:

SUNDAY WORSHIP:  We meet each Sunday at the Edgemont Park Baptist Church facilities located at 1804 Hickory Tree Road.  Service times are as follows:

          1:00 p.m.   Sunday School
             2:00 p.m.   Worship Service
             3:30 p.m.   Choir Practice and Children's Activities
                                   (Sunbeams, G.M.A. and Galileans)

WMA:  On Tuesday mornings at 10:00 a.m., our WMA ladies meet at Edgemont Park for a time of fellowship and Bible Study. 

AWANA:  On Wednesday evenings, children ages 3 years through the 6th grade are invited to attend our AWANA ministry, which will begin September 2nd at Pirrung Elementary School.  AWANA meets from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  See our AWANA page for more information.

YOUTH:  Also on Wednesday evenings, our youth group (grades 7-12) meets in the gym at Edgemont Park for a time of worship and fellowship.  The youth meet from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
